When life is getting to you, when you've had a rough day, or week, or month, and you're feeling it emotionally or physically in the form of pain, an outside voice is a wonderful lifeline. If you're getting trapped in that cycle of confusion, pain or blah, another voice can break through and guide you out.
That's why I created this body-oriented discovery meditation. What's a discovery meditation you ask? Well, it's an opportunity to put the powers of your mind to good use and enhance your physical and emotional well-being.

The marvelous power in this type of work (and I use the term 'work' not to indicate something difficult but to speak of something specific you do) is that the more you do it, the more skill you build. Then that skill is more readily available when you need it.
