10 minutes of relaxation

Doesn’t it feel good to relax? Your mind calms down, tension in your muscles lets go, things that seemed drastically important a moment ago become smaller and more manageable.

Sigh. Yes, that’s nice.

But what if your mind won’t shut up?!

You just need some help.

That’s why I made this 10-minute relaxation guide. It’s designed using my Himalayan singing bowls to cut through the mental chatter of your mind and calm things down. You can listen to it below. It sounds best through headphones.

If you’re used to your mind running and spinning and constantly on the move, your thoughts may not calm down in just a few seconds, or even a few minutes. Keep going! Don’t give up!

I offer you this feel better challenge: listen to this recording every day for one week. There will definitely be a change in you after doing this for seven days. Choose the the same time each day to make it easily consistent. I highly recommend using it right after you get home from work before you start doing anything else. That way it will help transition your mind so you’re not stuck in work mode.

You can also check out my Restorative Sound Meditation classes with Himalayan singing bowls on the first and third Sunday of each month starting in October. If you’re in the Bloomington/Normal area you can experience a full hour of this transformative, relaxing work and get a profound shift in your mind and body.
